OUR STORY

Humble Beginnings


We are a wholly Filipino owned company specialized in engineering, design, procurement, fabrication, and construction of oil and petroleum/ petrochemical terminals, LPG depots, commercial LPG installations and projects for manufacturing industries.

The company was established in 1992 in Manila, Philippines with the initial objective of providing technical and construction services to the local oil industry with a handful of employees. Through the years Mechatrends have consistently grown and is now AAA mechanical contractor accredited with the Philippines Contractors Accreditation Board. We are also a member of international organizations such as ASME, API and NFPA. To date Mechatrends have a workforce of around 800, an authorized capital of PHP 500 million and paid up capitalization of PHP 312.5 million with an average turn over of around PHP 1.5 Billion.

Mechatrends has operations all over the Philippines servicing the needs of the oil/petroleum, LPG, and manufacturing industries.

POLICY

Environmental Health and Safety


MECHATRENDS Contractors Corporations (“MCC”) is committed to providing environmental, health and safety protection to its employees, clients, and the local community who may be affected by its products and /or activities. This commitment is of equal importance with the other business goals of the Company. 

MCC believe that all accidents can be prevented through effective safety management involving all levels of the organization.  Through formal on the job training, every employee will be made aware of their responsibility towards EHS issues involved in their jobs.

MCC is committed to reducing waste generation and emission to the air, land and water in its job sites.  MCC will strive to reduce, reuse and recycle materials and will ensure that any waste is properly disposed of in a safe and environmentally sound manner. 

MCC will comply with all applicable regulatory requirements and will implement programs and processes to ensure that the Company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies are upheld at all times.

MCC will establish and maintain appropriate controls, including periodic management and third party review to ensure that this Policy is being followed and continuous to be effective.
